Ottawa Children’s Gala

It's that time of year again for the Ottawa Children's Gala in support of CHEO's concussion clinic happening February 24th, 2018 at the Infinity Convention Centre.

Each year we have tons of NGHA families attend this and we always offer a discounted rate for all NGHA families.

Lisa and I started this gala to give back to the community and help raise awareness for childhood preventable injuries. Each year we sell out with over 500 people. This new venue will allow us to have 700 guests! It's a formal evening where the kids and adults get to dress in formal attire and enjoy an evening of great entertainment and food. But really, it's about the amazing candy buffet!

We can place you at any table, so you are with friends and family.

In the past, most teams organized tables (kids at one table and adults at another). It's a lot of fun, if you have never been!

Congratulations to BCC

Congratulations to BCC for their efforts at Pink the Rink in Etobicoke last weekend.

The girls took home silver with a gritty performance against Kanata that saw the two teams needing a shootout to settle the score.

Well done; Alexie, Asia, Bea, Brooke, Evan, Jasmyne, Kyra, Lindsay, Maura, Megan, Liv, Sarah B, Sarah D, Susie, Tanya, Tara and Valerie!!!
Your parents and coaches were super proud of you all.

Nepean Wildcats PCBB

Congratulations to Nepean Wildcats PCBB for winning SILVER at the Etobicoke Pink the Rink tournament this past weekend.

The girls played terrific hockey, allowing only 2 goals the entire round robin and placing first in all pools!
After a hard-fought victory against Brantford in the semi-finals, the girls advanced to the Championship Game against familiar adversaries the Kanata Rangers. Both teams battled through regulation to a 1-1 tie, and after a back-and-forth OT, and it all came down to a shootout!!

The girls played terrific hockey all weekend. A shout-out to our terrific goalies Shelbie and Emily for a great tournament.
Go Wildcats!
