ACC Wins Gold in Orangeville

ACC wins Gold in 40th Annual Orangeville Sweetheart Tournament

Gold for the Nepean Atom C Wildcats at the 40th Annual Orangeville Sweetheart Tournament this past weekend with a 4-0 win over the West Oxford Inferno.

AH3 Win Oshawa Lady Generals Winter Classic

What a great weekend of hockey! Congratulations to the Atom Sparks (AH3) who went undefeated and won the Oshawa Lady Generals Winter Classic Tournament January 19-21.

The girls all contributed with high-scoring offensive play and tight defence. Goalie Stella shut the other teams out with only 3 goals against all tournament. A great weekend of teamwork and fun was capped with a hard-fought, close final game which saw the girls come out on top 2-1.

Great work ladies – Lily, Cadence, Lily, Rachel, Stella, Julianne, Sydney, Amy, Mai-Lyn, Madelyn, Anna, Kamila and Tess!

Spring Tryouts for 2018-2019 Competitive Teams

Nepean Girls Hockey Association would like to announce for the 2018-2019 hockey season, all competitive teams evaluations and tryouts (except Novice) will be completed in the spring 2018, after Provincial Championships.

Association representatives are pursuing this new initiative with a mandate of making our competitive teams fiscally responsible and allowing our families to enjoy a longer off-season.

It is anticipated that the tryouts will begin near mid-April, details and updated schedules will be communicated as information is available.

Gold for the Nepean Atom C wildcats at the Gloucester Cumberland Kickin’ ice in the Capital Tournament this past weekend with a thrilling 2-1 win over the Cornwall Typhoon’s!!

PCC Win Gold at Kickin’ it in the Capital

Congratulations to Nepean Wildcats PCC , the Gold Medal Champions at the Kickin’ it in the Capital Tournament, on Dec 10th by defeating the Russell Valley Coyotes 1-0 in the final.

These girls worked very hard after being defeated in their first game on Friday morning, to take the top spot in the standings Saturday night, after a big win against the hosting Gloucester-Cumberland Stars.

With 15 seconds left in the third period and some great coaching, the PCC Wildcats defeated the Stars 2-1. Way to go Wildcats PCC!!!

PCA Win Gold at Kickin’ it in the Capital

Congratulations to Nepean Wildcats PCA for capturing gold at the Kickin’ it in the Capital tournament on Dec 10th by defeating the host team, Gloucester-Cumberland Stars, 2-1 in the final.

This is the second tournament win for PCA as they captured gold at the Fire on Ice tournament in Rochester early in November.

A huge congratulations to the players and their coaches!!

2017-18 Future Sens

Sign your team up for the Future Sens program before it is too late! Bring your team (along with an opponent) to the Canadian Tire Centre for a game on the same day as an NHL game!

A couple hours prior to the NHL game, your two teams will hit the ice to play a 40-minute exhibition game at the Canadian Tire Centre and friends and family are invited to watch. Later on that day, your two teams, friends and family will attend the Ottawa Senators game at the Canadian Tire Centre. This is an unforgettable NHL game day experience!

For the following Future Sens opportunities, we are offering a minimum ticket requirement of only 60 tickets per team (120 tickets per timeslot) along with the opportunity to sit in the lower 300-level!

PCB Win Gold in Whitby Tournament of Heroes

Wow! What a fantastic weekend the PCB team had in the 2017 Whitby Tournament of Heroes!
Congratulations go to the coaches and all the girls for their hard work and success!

Way to go Alexa, Amanda, Charlie, Erika, Hannah, Jenah, Korina, Krista, Maya, Meadow, Molly, MadDog, Rachel, Sarah, Sophia, Taryn and Taylor!

You did your best as a team and you’ve made the NGHA proud!

AH2 Mighty Unicorns Win Silver in Durham West

Congratulations to the AH2 Mighty Unicorns for winning Silver in the Durham West tournament.

After going 3-0 in the round robin and a by to the finals, we ran into a tough team from Whitby. The girls played fantastic and had a ton a fun together all weekend.

Congratulations to Alexandra, Anika, Erin, Grace, Jasmine, Juliette, Katie, Kayla, Kyleigh, Leila, Maddie, Nicole, Olivia and Shelby. Thank you to all the parents for your help in making it a great weekend for the girls. Go Unicorns!
