PCBB Takes Gold In Kanata!

Congratulations to PCBB for winning GOLD this weekend in the Kanata Rangers Competitive Tournament.

The girls played tremendous hockey.
Our two outstanding goaltenders Shelbie and Emily posted FOUR shutouts, holding opponents to two goals the entire tournament!

The Championship game was a hard fought battle against a skilled Markam-Stouffville team, with the Wildcats coming away with a 3-0 victory!
A huge shout out to the coaches, staff and social committee for helping make it a terrific weekend.

Ice Warriors Win in Cornwall!

Congratulations to the Nepean Ice Warriors (AH7) for winning the Atom division at the Cornwall Tournament November 10 – 12! You girls really kicked it into overdrive on Sunday to play some of the best hockey I’ve seen this year!

The Quarter Finals against an undefeated Carleton Place required a 5 minute round of 3 vs. 3 and 4 shooters in a shootout finish.

The Semi Finals against Brockville required a quick finish in the 5 minute overtime.
With an all Nepean finals, both teams played a hard game.

Nepean Ice Warriors brought home their first gold metal of the season!
Congratulations Girls!

It is anticipated that the tryouts will begin near mid-April, details and updated schedules will be communicated as information is available.

Congratulations to BCC

Congratulations to the Bantam C Wildcats for conquering North Bay!
It was a deja vu that resulted in a golden victory instead of a silver lining.

The Bantam C girls went undefeated through the round robin, and for the second tournament in a row, the champion had to be determined in a shoot out.
In the championship round, the Bantam C team faced a determined Hearst team. Every goal the Wildcats scored was answered by an opposing goal .

After overtime, the game was knotted at 3-3. The on ice action had the parents on the edge of their seats, but in the end our goalie was an impenetrable wall and our forward had the hot hand.

Congratulations to MCC

Congratulations to MCC on your silver medal at the North Bay tournament Nov 3-5!
What an amazing weekend of hockey you treated us to.

Hard work, perseverance, stellar team play and outstanding goaltending is what defines this team. Your coaches, parents, family and friends witnessed great hockey and are so proud of you!

Ottawa Children’s Gala

It's that time of year again for the Ottawa Children's Gala in support of CHEO's concussion clinic happening February 24th, 2018 at the Infinity Convention Centre.

Each year we have tons of NGHA families attend this and we always offer a discounted rate for all NGHA families.

Lisa and I started this gala to give back to the community and help raise awareness for childhood preventable injuries. Each year we sell out with over 500 people. This new venue will allow us to have 700 guests! It's a formal evening where the kids and adults get to dress in formal attire and enjoy an evening of great entertainment and food. But really, it's about the amazing candy buffet!

We can place you at any table, so you are with friends and family.

In the past, most teams organized tables (kids at one table and adults at another). It's a lot of fun, if you have never been!

Nepean Wildcats PCBB

Congratulations to Nepean Wildcats PCBB for winning SILVER at the Etobicoke Pink the Rink tournament this past weekend.

The girls played terrific hockey, allowing only 2 goals the entire round robin and placing first in all pools!
After a hard-fought victory against Brantford in the semi-finals, the girls advanced to the Championship Game against familiar adversaries the Kanata Rangers. Both teams battled through regulation to a 1-1 tie, and after a back-and-forth OT, and it all came down to a shootout!!

The girls played terrific hockey all weekend. A shout-out to our terrific goalies Shelbie and Emily for a great tournament.
Go Wildcats!
