NGHA Board of Directors
The NGHA Annual General Meeting will be held prior to the middle of June 2018.
As per the NGHA Constitution, this meeting will include elections for positions on the NGHA Board of Directors. NGHA Board positions are elected for a term of two years and those currently in the position can run for a second consecutive two-year term in the same position.
No Officer or Director shall hold the same position for more than four years, unless an extension is approved by resolution at the AGM or a General Meeting.
Officers and Directors are elected under staggered terms.
The following positions are elected in even number years with those seeking a second consecutive term in their current positions indicated as such :
President* – Jarrett Thompson (running for second consecutive term)
Vice President (Programs)* – Dana Mulvihill (running for second consecutive term)
Registrar – Vacant
House League Director – Tracey Gillies (running for second consecutive term)
Policy, Risk and Safety Director – Vacant
Director at Large (one position) – Vacant
Ice Director** – Vacant
*NB: Nominees for the positions of President and Vice-President (Programs) must have served on the Board of Directors for at least one year prior to taking office as President or Vice President.
** Though the Ice Director position is elected in odd number years, the current Ice Director is resigning at the end of the 2017-2018 season. As a result, this position will be vacant and be voted on at the AGM for a one year term.

Other NGHA Volunteer Positions
The NGHA is also looking for members to fill many other key volunteer roles.
These volunteers are not members of the Board of Directors and are appointed to their positions by the NGHA Board :
Ice Scheduler – vacant
Certification (Police Record Checks and Speakout/Respect in Sport) – Vacant
Our dream season is over, but not before culminating in the greatest success of the season.
Proud of the girls’ and parents’ efforts to put together a wonderful morning with the Rez Girls 64 team from the Eabamatoong First Nation.
Despite the girls’ differences, they had a wonderful time sharing our love of hockey and learning about each other.
Thanks to the NGHA and the Nepean hockey community for your generous donations of used equipment.

After battling through wins against Mississauga and Stoney Creek, the PWHL Team went into the Final Four weekend won the bronze medal game.

Congratulations to Nepean Wildcats NH2 Ice Cheetahs, the Gold Medal Novice Champions!
These girls worked very hard after being defeated in their first game on Friday morning.
They rallied back by with 5 straight victories, including an overtime win in the semi-finals, and a come from behind win in the finals against the regular season’s first place team.
Great hustle by all the girls…Olivia, Campbell, Ani, Vivienne, Breanna, Joy, Maian, Alissa, Faith, Sadie, Georgie, Megan, Ella, Kaitlyn, and Sloan!
