We are super excited to be the coaches of the Nepean Wildcats Atom A team for the 2018-2019 season. We both have 2 girls playing within NGHA playing at different levels and are excited to be working together as co-coaches at the Atom level. Combined we have over 12 years of competitive coaching experience as both head and assistant coaches.

Our coaching philosophy, first and foremost will be to stress fun! Closely followed by basic/fundamental skill development (skating, passing, and shooting) and team work. The coaching staff will be dedicated to being focused and prepared for all practices and games. Players are expected to demonstrate a disciplined work ethic and eagerness to learn. We will work as coaching staff to set team and individual player goals throughout the season that we will strive to achieve together.

A final note on our philosophy: Work hard in practice, have fun in games!

(subject to change)
We will be looking to play in approximately 5-6 tournaments this season, with the possibility of provincials.
Below is a tentative list of tournaments:

Oakville Hornets Harvest Classic Rep Tournament (September)
Rochester (November)
Gloucester (December)
Nepean Wildcats –NGHA tournament (February)
Leaside Tournament (March)
Provincials (April, need to qualify)

Please expect to be with the team about 4 times per week with practices, games, and on and off ice skills development sessions. We are anticipating team fees to be approx. $1800 per player and will discuss fundraising options at our initial parents meeting.
