Hi, my name is Jennifer Marriner and I am excited to be coaching the Atom A team this year. Over the past 5 years I have been involved in coaching at various levels. My intentions in coaching this team will be to lead time effective practices, with a goal of improving individually and as a team. Hockey is about more than a game and my intentions are to improve each players maturity, commitment to team and discipline. Sports can teach children much more than just hockey skills and it would be my expectation that the players be committed to the team and each other. I am looking forward to a great 2019/2020 season!
Throughout the season my main objective will be to stress fun, with an inclusive team atmosphere. This will closely be followed by basic/fundamental skill development and team work. Players will be expected to demonstrate a disciplined work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude. We will work as coaching staff to set team and individual player goals throughout the season that we will strive to achieve together.

Please expect to be with the team about 4 times per week with practices, games, and on and off ice skills development sessions. I am anticipating team fees to be approx. $1800 per player and will discuss fundraising options at our initial parents meeting.
