Player Pathway Sessions (U9 & U11):
U9 and U11 players will have the opportunity to participate in pathway sessions in early September. *UPDATE: Emails with pathway schedules have now been sent to parents. If you have not received an email, please check your SPAM or JUNK folders. What are pathway sessions?
Pathway sessions for U9 & U11 are conditioning sessions (pathways skates), as mandated by Hockey Canada. These sessions will begin early September for U11 house league players and U9 competitive and house league players. These sessions are optional and offered at no additional cost to the players.
Players can expect to receive an email with their pathway schedule by Labour Day. Please continue to monitor for updates and keep an eye on your email for more information.
House League Sort Outs:
U13, U15 and U18 sort outs will take place over the course of two weekends (September 7-8 and September 14-15). Players may have 3 to 4 ice times during this time.
**UPDATE: Players will be receiving an email to confirm their next sort out time. If you haven’t received this email by Wednesday, September 11 - please check your spam folders. If you still don’t have the email, please contact either Lisa Camilucci at nghahldirector1@gmail.com or Tracy Foster at nghahldirector2@gmail.com.
Following your first sort out, you will receive an email with instructions for your next sort out time, which may be as early as the following evening.
For planning purposes, the final sort out dates and times will be as follows (subject to change):
U13
Saturday, September 14 between 12:15 and 4:15 pm
Sunday, September 15 between 12:15 and 4:15 pm
U15
Saturday, September 14 between 4:15 and 7:15 pm
Sunday, September 15 between 4:15 and 7:15 pm
U18
Saturday, September 14 between 7:15 and 9:15 pm
Sunday, September 15 between 7:15 and 9:15 pm
Sort outs are mandatory and necessary for creating balanced teams. Players are expected to attend all sessions they are assigned to. Unfortunately, swapping of sort-out times is not permitted. If players are unable to attend their designated session, they must notify the house league directors within 24 hours of the assigned time slot.
Sort outs for U11 will take place September 15, September 21 and September 22 following pathway sessions. Sort out schedules will be emailed to parents by end of day on September 12.
Sort outs for U9 will take place the weekend of September 21-22 following pathway sessions and competitive tryouts. Sort out schedules will be emailed to parents by end of day on September 19.
PLEASE NOTE: Our teams are balanced with players of all abilities within their designated age division following a sort out process. For this reason, we do not take friend requests.
