NGHA Team Registration Policy
Statement of Purpose | This policy identifies the standards and process for NGHA registration. |
Player Definitions | Veteran Player: a player registered with the NGHA during the previous Fall/Winter season Import player: a player registered within the OWHA, but not the NGHA, during the previous Fall/Winter season New Player: a player not registered with the OWHA during the previous Fall/Winter season |
General
| All veteran, import and new players must register for all NGHA programs and camps using the NGHA RAMP registration system Players who have not fulfilled their financial obligations to the NGHA or who have not returned all NGHA equipment and jerseys will not be allowed to register for the ensuing season or be given a release to play with another association until all obligations have been met. The NGHA reserves the right to cancel any program or division due to insufficient registration. All girls must register in their own age group. |
Fall/Winter Season
| Players who indicate “Goalie” on their registration must be prepared to play in goal on a full-time basis. House League goalies may play half-time but the House League Director must be made aware before sortouts. The Program Committee will vet all goalies. An NGHA registered player may register as a player on only one NGHA Fall/Winter season team. OWHA team registrations will not include any players who have not paid their NGHA registration fees. |
