NGHA Refund Policy

Purpose

This policy sets out the refund process for players who wish to withdraw from the NGHA. 

This policy applies to both NGHA Registration Fees and Team Fees

Administration Fee and Non-Refundable Portions of Registration Fees

A $75.00 administration fee will be charged to all withdrawing players.

OWHA Registration Fees and Hockey Canada Insurance fees are non-refundable.

Exclusion - Competitive Players

 

 

Competitive players who participate in tryouts and are selected to a competitive team, and withdraw at a later date, are not eligible for a refund of registration or team fees.  In exceptional circumstances, the Board of Directors may consider a refund request on the basis of health and safety or financial hardship but is not obligated to provide a refund.

Registration Fees

 

 

Registration fees for house league and FUNdamentals players are only eligible for refund, less all non-refundable amounts, within the first two weeks following sortouts for house league players and within two weeks of the start of the seaon for FUNdamentals players. After the first two weeks of the start of the season, all registration fees will be non-refundable.

Team Fees

Team fees will be refunded based on incurred expenditures up to the date of the approved withdrawal by the Registrar. Team fees are not refundable after November 1 of a given season.
